The Baha'i Knowledge Network is an independent initiative by a Baha'i couple to help connect souls online during this time of physical distancing.  To take what was usually done in person (Holy Day celebrations, saying prayers together, gathering and deepening on the holy writings) and conduct them online.  Doing so has not only helped connect those who usually attend these events, but many others, around the world, who haven't been able to physically attend local events for many years.

We host Holy Day broadcasts, facilitate ActionClasses, explore our faith and pray online together, to help build a better society based on truthfulness, trust, equality and love.

COMING SOON: our public roadmap for the future plans for The Bahá'i Knowledge Network

Back on March 18 this year, Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, said something that became the spark that lit the flame that became The Baha’i Knowledge Network. He said, “Perfection is the enemy of good.”

We had felt called to do something for the celebration of Ridván but this one sentence removed our mental barrier and had us jumping into action. Instead striving for “perfect” (which honestly was from our ego) we decided on focusing on the “good” we could do by being of service to those we were feeling called to serve, immediately.

We had no solid plan, no solid experience (heck, I, Sarah, only got the broadcast software 2 days before our first broadcast) but we knew in our hearts we had to so something, without delay!

We moved into IMMEDIATE MASSIVE IMPERFECT ACTION and decided to trust that the community we were serving would forgive our mistakes along the way. And, boy, how we have loved serving this amazing and supportive community!

So, with the same gusto and faith, we are excited to share our next

immediate massive imperfect action with you!

Sunday Soulcials.

We had bigger plans for how we would launch this (yup, our perfectionistic tendency started showing), but life and resources have lead us to simplify our start because if we waited until it was “perfect” it wouldn’t do the good it needs to now. Immediate Massive Imperfect Action!

EVERY SUNDAY at 8:00 am (Vancouver/LA time) The Baha'i Knowledge Network hosts

Sunday Soulcials

The format is simple. For those who register and join through the zoom link, we will start with a short presentation of the discussion topic, give some guidance on being a conversationalist, and then move into random breakout rooms for elevated conversations.

What are “elevated conversations” you may ask?

An "elevated conversation" is simply a conversation that goes deeper than, "how's the weather" and, our goal is to create a safe space for hearts and souls to connect through these respectful and loving conversations.

The topics will vary week to week but they will focus on our relationships with one another, the need for spiritual guidance and sometimes directly about the Word of God, from different religions.
